Business Talk about Digitalisation
With the new #Businesstalk platform, the elektrotechnik trade fair offers managerial staff of small and medium-sized enterprises a unique platform for high-quality knowledge transfer and valuable networking. Under the heading, ‘Digitalisation – implementation, opportunities and risks and challenges in enterprises and society’, representatives from local government, industry, the science sector and society will discuss the central aspects of digital transformation with Roman A. Retzbach, an expert on the future of work, as presenter. The event, which will take place in the ‚industry.automation.maintenance‘ Forum in Hall 5, will not only deliver important impetus for the central topics that are decisive for the future of industry and society but also offer decision-makers from small and medium-sized enterprise the opportunity to network and exchange information on equal terms. In/The Ruhr Region
In|Die RegionRuhr: Innovationsnetzwerk für Industrie und Dienstleistung (In/The Ruhr Region: Innovation Network for Industry and the Service Sector) is a co-operation project of the Business Development Agencies and Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Ruhr Region towns, Bochum, Dortmund, Hagen, Herne, and the Ennepe-Ruhr District and is subsidised by the State Government of North Rhine Westphalia with funds from the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRE). Within the scope of the ‘In|Die RegionRuhr’ joint stand (5.A10 and 5.B02) at elektrotechnik 2019, nine enterprises and institutes from the Ruhr Region will present their products and know-how to national and international trade fair visitors.
Energie Impuls OWL
Energie Impuls OWL will inform visitors about the latest developments in the sector decoupling project (SynErgieOWL) jointly with its project partners at the elektrotechnik 2019 trade fair. Jointly with nine project partners, primarily medium-sized enterprises, Energie Impuls OWL is working on a regulation method that is cheaper and optimised to the energy exchange price in order to establish the prerequisites for the future use of deregulated energy from renewable energy sources for heating and the charging of electric cars in private households.
Dortmund Smart City Alliance
From a City District into the Region – A joint exhibition with supporting convention by the Dortmund Smart City Alliance. The ‘Dortmund Smart City Alliance’ (Allianz Smart City Dortmund) will present itself with its alliance partners on an interesting joint stand in Hall 7. A three-day own convention programme with interesting topics will supplement the trade show stand.
